Quint Buccholz

Buchholz established his reputation with illustrations for numerous books, including works by Jostein Gaarder, Elke Heidenreich and Amos Oz, and through the design of many book covers and posters. Since 1982 his works have been shown in more than 70 exhibitions. “I’m not the one who finishes a painting. It is the viewer who is completing the story”, he says.

I found them surprising, sometimes funny and sometimes truly touching.
